The U2 or C2 is a two driver in-ear monitor (IEM) system that features a finely tuned, crossover free hybrid-driver deign IEM. This provides a soft and blended sonic profile.

It combines a: dynamic driver made from high density neodymium magnets and OFHC voice coils selected for being able to provide a warm and controlled low end response; and a balanced armature tuned to give a smooth mid-range and highs for a well textured presentation that is comfortable to listen too everyday. This is housed in an acoustically-optimized composite material that uses Stealth Sonics Stealth Kompozit features that is not just very comfortable but light weight as well. Each side of the U2 weighs in at just 4 grams.

The U2 also employs Stealth Sonics proprietary design features such as: the Klarity valve to reduce pressure build up and fatigue in the ear canal from long usage; Stealth damping for more controlled bass response ; and SonicFlo Acoustics for resonance and cancellation reduction.

The URX-P40 features a digital audio interface that bypasses A/D and D/A conversion stages, enabling direct digital recording with the SMAD-P5 Multi-Interface shoe adaptor and compatible Sony XDCAM camcorders.

The SMAD-P5 Multi Interface (MI) Shoe Adaptor allows convenient, cable-free connection of the URX-P40 wireless receiver to compatible camcorders or interchangeable-lens cameras featuring an MI (Multi Interface) shoe. Audio signals are transmitted directly from the wireless receiver to the camera with no need for connecting cables. The adaptor also supports direct digital audio recording with compatible camcorders, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages to deliver high sound quality with low noise. The SMAD-P5 allows the wireless receiver to draw power from the camcorder via the MI shoe, while receiver power ON/OFF can be controlled directly from the camera.

**When using with PXW-Z150 operated by AC power, please set a battery on the camera. Without a battery, we do not guarantee the power supply function or power ON/OFF control function. In that case, insert new AA alkaline batteries in the receiver and set the receiver’s power select (PWR SOURCE) menu item to BATT ONLY mode to avoid an unexpected shutdown of the camera or data loss.
