PRE-STUDIO 1810
Studio 1810

Designed for creative electronic music production.

Almost everyone at PreSonus is a musician, and many of us are DJs and electronic musicians. So we understand the need for a high-quality interface with the best sounding preamps available and top quality digital converters. We need cue mix monitoring for live DJ gigs as well as in the studio. We need direct line inputs for our external synths, and we need expandability because we can’t resist adding more synths to our collection. That’s why we created the Studio 1810. With 18 flexible inputs, 8 outputs, cue mix monitoring on the first of two headphone outputs, and an onboard DSP monitor mixer that’s integrated into both Studio One® Artist and UC Surface, the Studio 1810 delivers superior audio and the features electronic music producers and DJs need.

Superior sound.

High-grade digital converters, ultra-low-jitter clocking, and our famous XMAX preamps add up to a superior recording and listening experience. The Studio 1810 operates at up to 192 kHz for ultra-high-definition mixing and recording. High-quality converters on every input and output provide 115 dB of dynamic range to capture complex musical harmonics smoothly and naturally with no audible distortion. XMAX Class A microphone preamps deliver incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs, and a rich overall sound so you’ll hear every breath, transient, and detail in your recordings, making it ideal for both vocal production and sampling.

All the inputs you need, when you need them.

In addition to XMAX mic preamps, the first two Studio 1810 inputs provide instrument preamps so you can directly connect guitars and basses without a D.I. box. All four combo connections feature line level inputs with 40 dB of gain for low-level line devices, like that TR-808 you snagged off Craigslist. Four direct-to-ADC balanced line inputs are ideal for connecting synthesizers, outboard preamps, and channel strips. And the Studio 1810 is equipped with eight channels of ADAT Optical input (four channels at 96 kHz), enabling you to expand your inputs with an 8-channel converter like our premium-quality DigiMax DP88, so your recording system can grow along with your synth collection.

In the studio and on the gig.

The first of two high-powered headphone outputs features Cue Mix A/B so you can choose between two mixes with a button press, providing the flexibility you need for live DJ performances and studio collaboration. In addition to L/R main outputs with front-panel Mute and level controls, you get four balanced line outputs for monitor mixing plus stereo S/PDIF digital I/O. All line-level outputs are DC coupled, enabling them to send control voltages. An 18x6 monitor mixer lets you create three stereo near-zero-latency monitor mixes. Studio 1810’s MIDI I/O enables connection to a keyboard, sound module, or control surface, as well, making this versatile interface the heart of your studio.

World-class recording software included.

The Studio 1810 interface works with virtually all Mac and Windows audio-recording software but it really shines when used with the included PreSonus Studio One® Artist DAW. Built by creative people for creative music production, Studio One is easy to learn and enables you to compose, record, and produce your masterpiece without getting distracted by the tools. The mix controls for the Studio 1810’s onboard monitor mixer are seamlessly integrated into Studio One. Using Studio One’s unique Z-Mix feature, you can create near zero-latency monitor mixes without leaving your recording environment. You also can remote-control monitor mixes using free PreSonus UC Surface touch-control software for Mac®, Windows®, iPad®, and Android™.

The flexible production tool.

With cue mix headphone monitoring, onboard monitor mixing, sweet-sounding preamps, abundant line inputs, and up to 192 kHz sample rate, the Studio 1810 will give you the ultra-high-def sound and versatile connectivity you need to make state-of-the-art recordings and perform live. MIX 2:1 Passive balanced mixer 2 in 1 out

MIX 2:1™ Two Channel Audio Combiner & Mixer

  • Mixes two channels to a single mono output
  • Individual level controls can be bypassed when not in use
  • ¼" TRS and XLR inputs
  • Completely passive, no need for power

The MIX 2:1 is a simple yet highly useful mixer that passively sums two audio channels down to one. This enables you to easily sum the stereo outputs of a console, recording interface, or portable playback device down to mono, or to mix any two signals together and balance their relative input levels.

At the inputs of the MIX 2:1, both ¼" TRS and XLR connectors are available, with ground lift switches to eliminate buzz and hum from ground loops and ensure noise-free operation. Each input can be individually engaged or disengaged, allowing you to audition either signal before summing both together. A trim control is also featured on each input, so if you are connecting two separate mono sources such as the outputs of two mic preamps, they can each be attenuated as needed to match their levels at the output. Both level controls can be completely bypassed, summing inputs 1 and 2 equally, and preventing accidental or unwanted level adjustments. The MIX 2:1 has a 180° flip on Input-2, to help solve issues with frequency cancellation due to the inputs being out of phase. After both signals are passively summed together, they feed a single XLR output that can be connected to a powered speaker, or the input of a console or recording interface.

The MIX 2:1 is built with 14-gauge solid steel, featuring I-beam construction that prevents the circuit board from being torqued which protects against solder joint failure, along with a bookend design that protects the level controls and switches. A military-spec circuit board and high quality components help maintain the integrity of your audio quality, without distortion or phase shift, resulting in completely transparent passive summing.

SAT2 Passive 2 ch balanced stereo attenuator
  • Level and dim control for a pair of powered speakers
  • First attenuates hot signal levels to prevent clipping
  • Passive, no power needed
  • Transparent operation without coloration

The SAT-2 is a passive stereo audio device that provides you with attenuation and control over your signal level wherever you may need it, whether it be at the output of a pair of high-gain mic preamps, or before your studio speakers as a compact desktop monitor controller. Exceptional build quality and high-grade components ensure noiseless operation, without any degradation or coloration of the source material.

When using the SAT-2 as a monitor controller, simply connect it in between your playback device or recording interface and a pair of powered speakers. The SAT-2 is equally useful in a recording studio or with a simple PA rig to control the overall output levels. Both XLR and ¼" TRS options are provided for the inputs of the SAT-2, eliminating the need for adapter cables. XLR outputs connect to your speakers, while the trim knob provides an easy-access master volume control. Mute and mono switches allow you to silence the outputs or sum left and right together to check mixes for mono phase compatibility. A handy dim switch with adjustable level control allows you to temporarily lower the output volume without losing the setting on the main trim control.

The SAT-2 can also be used to attenuate signals before sending them to your audio interface, so you can drive your mic preamps hard for coloration without clipping the inputs of the digital audio converter. This allows you to have your preamps turned up to their sweet spot without having to engage the input pad or risk overloading when recording. A high quality 4-pole rotary knob ensures consistent L-R tracking over the entire range of the trim pot, fully maintaining the left-right balance of stereo sources.

Compact but extremely rugged, the SAT-2 is housed in a 14-gauge solid steel enclosure, with a book-end design that protects the connectors and switches from damage, and I-beam construction that prevents stress on the circuit board. The SAT-2 provides clean and transparent operation with a number of useful features and applications, making it a simple yet powerful device for your audio toolbox.

4 Play Multi-Output DI Box
  • Quick change-over DI for multi-instrumentalists
  • Switch between four outputs using a single footswitch
  • Four DI outputs for control over each instrument
  • Ground lift switches to eliminate hum and buzz

The 4-Play begins with a standard ¼" input for acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle or bass. In fact, it works great on just about any instrument. A mute footswitch lets you silence the switcher when connecting or disconnecting the instrument. The signal is then routed to a selector footswitch that sequentially activates up to four outputs allowing each instrument to have its own dedicated channel on the PA. You simply mute the 4-Play, connect the desired instrument and then use the footswitch to select the output. High visibility LED indicators provide clear visual feedback to let you know which output is active.

Radial Tech Team associate Mike Bauer explains: "When you are on a busy stage, switching instruments can pose several challenges. When sharing the same direct box, switching between an acoustic guitar and mandolin requires both the FOH engineer and monitor engineer to mute the active mixer channel in order to avoid damaging plug-in transients and painful pops for the audience. You then need to alter the EQ and adjust the level to adapt it for each instrument. Alternatively, when using separate DI boxes, you end up with a bunch of wires connected to each instrument which often get tangled. Ask any stage tech and they will tell you that the preferred approach is to use a single cable and manually switch between instruments. Then, because the artist can mute the instrument on stage, you avoid having to flag down the FOH and monitor engineers between each changeover. Since each instrument is now connected to a dedicated channel, the signal level, EQ and effects can be predetermined and optimized without having to make radical changes every time an instrument is changed.  With so many auxiliary musicians onstage these days, there has never been a more appropriate time for this type of solution."

The 4-Play features four balanced XLR outputs, each of which is equipped with a ground lift switch to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. All of the connectors are made from glass-filled nylon for exceptional durability and isolation and feature nickel-silver contacts that will not tarnish over time. Two 'set & forget' switches allow the user to increase the range of the selector footswitch to 2, 3 or 4 outputs. There is also a dedicated tuner out that can be assigned to be always on, or function in tandem with the mute switch for quick on-the-fly adjustments.

Built Radial tough, the 4-Play is made from heavy 14-gauge steel for added rigidity and greater rejection of stray magnetic fields. It employs a standard Boss-style 9V power supply (not included) and is equipped with a cable lock to prevent accidental disconnection.

PRE-E3.5
Eris 3.5 Studio monitor (PAIR)

Eris E3.5 Active Media Reference Monitors

Compact size with studio-quality sound; 3.5-inch Kevlar woofer and 1-inch silk-dome tweeter; ¼-inch balanced TRS, RCA, and 1/8” stereo unbalanced line inputs; convenient front-panel volume control; integrated headphone amplifier; low- and high-frequency tuning controls; 25W/side class AB power amp.

Every Eris-series studio monitor utilizes a custom-woven Kevlar® low-frequency driver. The weave and nature of the Eris E3.5’s 3.5-inch Kevlar woofer result in a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound.

Connect to virtually any line-level source.

With three different types of audio inputs, it’s easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E3.5 is equipped with rear-panel, ¼-inch TRS and RCA inputs, as well as front-panel ⅛-inch stereo, unbalanced line inputs for use with mobile audio devices. With this selection, you’ll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source, including your smartphone or tablet. The loud, clear, front-panel headphone amplifier lets you work and play in stealth mode, without disturbing your housemates.

Easy-to-use controls.

A speaker’s response is affected by where you place it and the acoustics of your space. That’s why Eris E3.5 active media reference monitors offer easy-to-adjust high- and low-frequency controls. A convenient front-panel volume knob sets both the speaker level and the integrated headphone amplifier level. Be careful with that volume knob, though: Eris E3.5s are driven by an onboard 25 watt/side power amplifier and can get a lot louder than you may expect, while still delivering clear, accurate audio.

This is a musician’s mixer: lightweight, versatile, feature-rich, and packed with analog connections and digital tools, yet easy to learn and use. Mix with 16 of PreSonus®’ famous Class A preamps and three-band EQ. Create multitrack recordings and fly in backing tracks with a 24-bit, 96 kHz, USB 2.0 digital audio interface. Record and playback in stereo with the integrated SD digital recorder. Stream program music wirelessly, using onboard Bluetooth™. Compact and road-ready, StudioLive AR mixers provide a superior all-in-one solution for mixing and recording your performances.

All of the connections and controls you need.

StudioLive AR22 USB mixers are packed with the connections and controls needed to mix and record live, in the studio, and in rehearsal. Each of the 12 mono channels and four stereo channels includes a 60 mm fader for level control; a mic input with one of PreSonus’ prized Class A preamps; 3-band EQ; and more. Besides the main outputs, you get two monitor mix outputs, each with a dedicated bus, for feeding stage wedges, a headphone amp, or an in-ear system. You also get control-room outputs with level control to feed your studio or front-of-house monitors.

Plug guitars and basses directly into the mixer.

Most mixers make you route acoustic and electric guitars and basses through external direct boxes before connecting to a mixer input. But with StudioLive AR mixers, Channels 1 and 2 have high-impedance instrument inputs, so you can plug a guitar or electric bass straight into the board—no direct box needed.

It’s inputs; it’s playback; it’s the Super Channel!

Our unique Super Channel (stereo Channel 21/22) allows you to connect four stereo analog and digital sources at once, enabling you to use the mixer with your high-tech devices. Plug a media player into the Super Channel’s unbalanced RCA and 1/8-inch stereo inputs, play stereo audio from the onboard SD recorder or from your USB-connected Mac® or Windows® PC. Use onboard Bluetooth 4.1 to pair your phone to your StudioLive AR mixer and instantly have wireless access to your music library for break music, backing tracks, or ear-training. Have a song you want the rest of the band to learn? Pair your phone and start rehearsing!

Record in the studio or at the gig—with or without a computer.

Naturally, you want to record your gigs, as well as producing studio projects, podcasts, and so on. It’s smart to record your rehearsals, too. So StudioLive AR mixers offer two different ways to record. Connect a StudioLive AR22 USB mixer to your computer via USB 2.0, and you have a 22x4 multitrack digital recorder, ready to capture all input channels plus the main mix to a Mac or Windows PC with professional, 24-bit/96 kHz quality. An onboard stereo SD recorder lets you record the main mix without a computer—just hit Record and go. Recording can’t get much easier than this

Fly in backing tracks and play break music, too!

Both the integrated USB recording interface and the SD recorder have multiple uses beyond simply recording. With just a few backing tracks, your small band can sound like a much larger act. Using the two stereo USB playback streams, you can add backing tracks, click tracks, or program music to your mix. Use the SD recorder to play up to 32 GB of MP3 and .WAV files for hours of program music or backing tracks without needing a computer. And don’t forget the Bluetooth feature in the Super Channel, which lets you play break music straight from your smartphone. With several ways to get the job done, you can work the way you want to.

PRE-SL16R
StudioLive 16R Series 3 Rack Mixer

StudioLive 16R: 18-input, 16-channel Series III stage box and rack mixer

The StudioLive 16R Series III rack mixer is a perfect partner for your StudioLive Series III console/recorder, serving as either a simple stage box or a combination stage box and monitor mixer. Since Series III rack mixers and consoles can network using AVB, you can connect your StudioLive 16R to a Series III front-of-house console with one lightweight CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a heavy, expensive copper snake—and the signal degradation that goes with long analog cable runs. You can even remote control the StudioLive 16R’s preamps and phantom power from your networked Series III console. In stage box + monitor mixer mode, the StudioLive 16R not only serves as an excellent networked stage box, it is a full blown monitor mixer with far more processing and mixing power than any mixer in its class—all packed into just one rackspace. (1U).

Superior sound.

Connect a StudioLive Series III rack mixer, and you’ll instantly hear details and an open high end you’d expect to find only in an expensive studio console. We built our reputation designing great-sounding analog circuits, including our famous XMAX solid-state, Class A preamps, and we put all of that experience into designing StudioLive Series III consoles and rack mixers. We didn’t cut corners on components, and we just say “No!” to noisy, crosstalk-y ribbon cables. As a result, StudioLive Series III mixers deliver the high-end audio quality you need to preserve your hard-earned reputation for producing great-sounding mixes and recordings.

The most powerful rack mixer in its class.

When we say the StudioLive® Series III stage boxes and rack mixers are by far the most powerful rackmount digital mixers in their class, that’s no idle claim. The result of ten years of R&D, third-generation StudioLive Series III rack mixers are fully recallable, including remote-controlled XMAX preamps. Yet despite their extensive features, StudioLive Series III rack mixers actually improve upon PreSonus®’ legendary ease of use while letting you customize their workflow and operations in software to fit the way you work. The coveted StudioLive sound is better than ever, including third-generation Fat Channel processing, re-engineered from the ground up, and vintage-style EQs and compressors. Add built-in AVB networking, multitrack recording via USB 2.0 and AVB, onboard stereo recording to SD Card, and a complete suite of software, and you have a mixing and recording powerhouse that’s equally formidable as a stage box/monitor mixer, as a rackmount front-of-house mixer controlled from a touchscreen computer or tablet, and as the heart of your studio.

A third-generation Fat Channel.

StudioLive Series III rack mixers boast the same third-generation Fat Channel processing found in StudioLive Series III consoles. Delivering digital precision with the heart and soul of analog, the Series III Fat Channel implements a plug-in-style workflow that features vintage-style EQ and compression options on every channel, from classic tube limiters to passive EQs. In addition to channel processing, all StudioLive Series III mixers offer 6-band, fully parametric EQ on all mix outputs. Enjoy extensive, studio-style processing when recording, mixing monitors, or even running the front-of-house system.

Customize scenes and presets in new and powerful ways—including your way.

With StudioLive Series III, we’ve upped the ante and given you more flexibility when working with scenes and presets. Mixer scenes now include Scene Safe. Similarly, we’ve expanded the concept of Fat Channel presets so that presets have, for practical purposes, become like scenes for individual channels, not only saving input and Fat Channel settings but also aux send and bus assignments. Of course you can also use preset filters to choose what you want to recall.

Create buses and groups to suit your workflow with FlexMixes.

Don’t you hate it when you’re setting up for a show and find you have an unused subgroup—but you’re short one monitor mix? That’s not a problem anymore, thanks to six FlexMixes that can be individually designated as aux, subgroup, or matrix mixes. These 6 FlexMixes are in addition to the 2 internal effects sends and the stereo main bus, giving you a total of 10 mix buses, not counting the solo buses. We also provided eight Filter DCAs so you can more easily and flexibly control groups of channels. These are only a few of the many ways you can customize your StudioLive Series III rack mixer exactly to your needs and workflow.

Integrated software package with professional DAW, remote-control apps, and one-touch recording.

PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixers are tightly integrated with an entire suite of state-of-the-art software. Mix wirelessly or over a wired network from anywhere using UC Surface touch-control software for Mac, Windows, Android, and iPad®. Remote control the mixer’s recallable XMAX preamps and Fat Channel processing with Studio One Artist for low-latency recording with effects. (Reverb-drowned singers: rejoice!) Completely automate virtual soundchecks and record shows with Capture. Save mixer scenes with your live recordings in Capture and edit both in Studio One Artist. StudioLive Series III mixers and software work together to form a cohesive ecosystem that helps you achieve your creative vision.

Network-ready, with a choice of recording methods.

Networking isn’t the future of professional audio systems; it’s here now. StudioLive 16R Series III rack mixers come equipped with an AVB Ethernet connection that enables you to network multiple StudioLive Series III mixers and compatible computers and stream up to 32 channels of audio to and from a Mac or Windows PC. You also get 18x18 recording via USB 2.0, giving you a choice of computer recording methods. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. Alternatively, quickly and easily record the main mix—or any other stereo mix—to the built-in SD Card recorder. Upload a show for fans, give the band a reference recording, and more, no computer required. You can even simultaneously multitrack record to your laptop via USB or AVB and record in stereo to SD.

Remote mix control available on a plethora of both wired and wireless devices.

In addition to the AVB recording connection, StudioLive Series III rack mixers sport a 1 Gb Ethernet port that can connect to a wireless router or directly to a computer, providing remote control of virtually all features. Mix wirelessly or over a wired network from anywhere using UC Surface for Mac®, Windows®, iPad®, and Android ™ tablet. Even add a second—or third, or even fourth!—screen for fast workflow. Musicians can control their monitor mixes onstage with QMix®-UC for iPhone®, iPod® touch, or Android device without the need for large monitor networks. Go wireless, wired, or both.

Simple but versatile audio connections.

We kept the StudioLive Series III rack mixers’ front and rear panels clean and simple, yet they have all the connections you need. All 16 channel inputs on the StudioLive 16R use locking combo jacks to accept microphone- or line-level signals. You also get a pair of unbalanced RCA jacks as additional inputs for Channels 15 and 16 for easy connectivity to smartphones, media players, and other consumer audio sources. In addition to main L/R outputs and headphone jack, you get six FlexMix outputs that can each be independently configured as subgroups, monitor outputs, or matrix outputs. The result is a versatile set of connections that provide the access you need in a compact, 1U package.

What makes the StudioLive Series III rack mixer’s sound quality so good?

The perfect partner for a StudioLive Series III console.

The StudioLive 24R Series III rack mixer is a perfect partner for your StudioLive Series III console/recorder, serving as either a simple stage box or a combination stage box and monitor mixer. Since Series III rack mixers and consoles can network using AVB, you can connect your StudioLive 24R to a Series III front-of-house console with one lightweight CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a heavy, expensive copper snake—and the signal degradation that goes with long analog cable runs. You can even remote control the StudioLive 24R’s preamps and phantom power from your networked Series III console. In stage box + monitor mixer mode, the StudioLive 24R not only serves as an excellent networked stage box, it is a full blown monitor mixer with far more processing and mixing power than any mixer in its class—all packed into just two rackspaces (2U).

Simple but versatile audio connections.

We kept the StudioLive Series III rack mixers’ front and rear panels clean and simple, yet they have all the connections you need. All 24 channel inputs on the StudioLive 24R use locking combo jacks to accept microphone- or line-level signals. You also get a pair of unbalanced RCA jacks as additional inputs for Channels 23 and 24 for easy connectivity to smartphones, media players, and other consumer audio sources. In addition to main L/R outputs and headphone jack, you get 12 FlexMix outputs that can each be independently configured as subgroups, monitor outputs, or matrix outputs. The result is a versatile set of connections that provide the access you need in a compact, 2U package.

PRE-FADERPORT 16
FaderPort 16

An amazingly fast, efficient studio workflow awaits you!

With the compact, easy-to-use FaderPort 16, you’ll enjoy the fastest, most efficient workflow and the most session control you’ve ever experienced. But don’t just take our word for it; visit your favorite PreSonus dealer and try the FaderPort 16 for yourself!

Advanced, Innovative DAW Control

Although a keyboard and mouse are tried-and-true DAW-control devices, they’re far more effective when used in tandem with the FaderPort™ 16’s precise tactile control over mix and automation functions. A superior solution for anyone who mixes in the box, only the FaderPort 16 provides 16 100 mm touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 89 buttons covering 104 different functions, all in a compact chassis that easily sits on any desk. Quickly zoom in on audio files for editing, modify plug-in parameters, manage aux mixes—and, of course, control track levels with the touch of a finger. With the FaderPort 16, you’ll enjoy the fastest, most efficient workflow you’ve ever experienced.

Work faster and smarter.

Rather than forcing you to revise your mixing method, the FaderPort 16 augments the way you currently mix. You still use your faithful keyboard and mouse for things they do well, and the FaderPort 16 handles what you really want to get your fingers on: your mix. Having the ability to control the levels of 16 channels at once makes creating the perfect mix easier than ever before. And the FaderPort 16 allows you to view just the information you need to access. Sixteen digital scribble strips provide visual feedback. Quickly navigate between tracks and buses. Need to automate your virtual instruments? The FaderPort 16 lets you view just those tracks, making switching automation tasks a breeze. This is DAW control the way you always hoped it could be!

One-button access to key functions.

The FaderPort 16's unique Session Navigator provides easy access to eight mission-critical functions for maximum flexibility. Use the large encoder button and companion buttons to edit and mix with greater efficiency and speed. Scroll through your timeline, using the encoder, or work measure by measure with the arrow buttons; zoom in and out on the timeline with the encoder and make your tracks larger or smaller with the arrow buttons; navigate and drop markers; and maintain constant control of your main level. Once you start using the Session Navigator, you’ll wonder how you mixed without it.

Universal compatibility and tight Studio One® integration.

FaderPort 16’s streamlined workflow and support for the Mackie Control and HUI protocols make it fast and easy to control virtually any DAW. No driver installation is necessary; just plug the control surface into a USB port and take command of your mix and plug-ins.

But the FaderPort 16 is downright magical when used with PreSonus Studio One. (Studio One Artist is included.) You’ll be amazed how much faster you can work.

PRE-SW5E
SW5E AVB Switch with PoE

The AVB Network Connection (delivery end of february)

PreSonus’ SW5E AVB switch supplies five AVB ports with secure. locking XLR Ethernet jacks. This, along with its robust construction, makes the SW5E an especially good choice for live sound systems. Network Link/Activity indicators help you ensure that network data is flowing properly.

What is an AVB network?

Audio networking is much more than just a way to connect a digital snake. With an AVB network, you can connect digital audio devices over long distances using CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable and route your audio anywhere on the network with extremely low latency. AVB offers several unique benefits that make it a better choice for audio than other networking protocols. For example, AVB provides a high-precision clock that significantly reduces harmonic distortion and phasing, ensuring your audio stays clear and clean. AVB ensures you always have enough bandwidth to carry your low latency audio—even when your intern starts streaming a movie. These important benefits are an inherent part of AVB; you don’t need to do anything special to your devices or AVB switch. And you can only get them with AVB.

PoE: Remote power for networked devices.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that enables network cables to carry electrical power to compatible devices. With PoE, a single cable delivers both network data, such as digital audio, and electrical power. You can locate a PoE-enabled device anywhere you can run an Ethernet cable because you don’t need a local power source. Four of the SW5E’s five ports can provide PoE, a rare feature in the current generation of AVB switches. The SW5E’s fifth port is non-PoE, which is useful for linking to additional switches to create a larger network.

Tough enough for live sound.

Live sound gigs are hard on gear, and if your network fails, the show could be over. That’s why the SW5E is built to stand up to the rigors of live sound and perform reliably every time. In addition to using rugged, locking XLR Ethernet connectors, the SW5E is housed in a heavy-duty, all-metal chassis and can be rack mounted using a rack tray (not included). The unit also employs an internal power supply with standard IEC connector—not a clumsy “wall wart” supply that could easily get bumped loose.

A great networking solution for StudioLive digital mixers.

When used with StudioLive digital mixers, an SW5E AVB switch makes many wonderful things possible. Use an SW5E to network StudioLive Series III consoles or to connect a StudioLive AI-series console and StudioLive RML-series rack mixer (as a stage box). Put an SW5E at the center of your network to connect a StudioLive RML-series rack mixer with a StudioLive CS18AI control surface. You can even cascade two StudioLive RML-series mixers to create a larger system by AVB networking them with an SW5E.

You also can use the SW5E to connect non-PreSonus AVB-enabled equipment. As long as the product is compatible with the AVB specification, it is compatible with the SW5E.

PRE-SL-1602 USB
StudioLive 16.0.2 USB digital mixer (NEW)

Portable, Affordable, and Amazingly Powerful

The ease of analog meets the power of digital.

When you’re mixing a live event or have an artist in the studio, you need to be able to work quickly. The StudioLive® 16.0.2 USB’s familiar, easy-to-use interface keeps all critical controls visible and accessible —not buried in menus or layers. Our design philosophy is simple: One fader for every mono or stereo channel; one output for every bus. Add to that easily accessed, color-coded function buttons; rotary trim controls; and clearly labeled, individual knobs for EQ and dynamics processing. Aux sends have their own physical controls. Every channel has a big, bright meter display. But don’t let the analog feel fool you: The StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers the power of modern digital mixing, multitrack recording, wireless remote control, and more.

Small size. Bigger possibilities.

In a footprint of less than 2 square feet (0.19 square meters), the compact, 16-channel StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers 8 mono input channels, 4 stereo channels, and 4 aux buses, each with a high-quality, 60 mm fader. You get generous analog I/O, 12 XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps, a Talkback input with Class A mic preamp, extensive signal processing with physical controls, MIDI control, accurate metering, and a built-in multichannel recording interface. As with all StudioLive mixers, the 16.0.2 USB comes with a suite of tightly integrated recording, control, and audio analysis software. And it’s so lightweight and compact that you can easily hold it in one hand and tuck it under your arm.

You’ll never run out of signal processors.

StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixers provide plenty of DSP power, with no limitations, no shared resources, no figuring out what processing is available where. You have all of the processing available at all times, with no compromises or caveats. The unique Fat Channel provides a compressor, limiter, expander, and 3-band semi-parametric EQ on every channel and bus; a highpass filter on each channel; phase reverse for the channel mic preamps; a library of professionally crafted presets; and the ability to save and selectively recall processor settings. A stereo, 31-band graphic EQ sits on the main bus. To top it off, you get two 32-bit delay/reverb effects processors, each with its own dedicated mix bus and a library of useful effects presets.

Superior sound.

Connect a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixer and you’ll instantly hear details and clarity you’d expect to find only in a much more expensive console. StudioLive mixers operate at up to 48 kHz for high-definition mixing and recording. High-quality Burr-Brown converters on every input and output provide a best-in-class 118 dB of dynamic range so you’ll catch every high and low with great accuracy and no audible distortion. And our XMAX microphone preamps deliver incredibly high headroom, deep lows, smooth highs, and a rich overall sound.

Recording is in StudioLive 16.0.2 USB’s DNA.

The StudioLive 16.0.2 USB’s built-in 18x16 multitrack recording interface is tightly integrated with the rest of the mixer—not an afterthought we tacked on. All 16 channels and the main mix continuously stream to your USB-connected Mac or Windows PC. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. And with StudioLive mixers, recording is simple and easy: Just launch the included, preconfigured Capture™ software for one-click recording of all channel inputs and your main mix. Or record with the included Studio One Artist DAW—or any recording software that supports ASIO or Core Audio. Now you can record in the studio or at the gig with equal ease.

Integrated, multiplatform software for flexible control and one-click recording.

Like all PreSonus StudioLive mixers, the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB is tightly integrated with an entire suite of state-of-the-art software. Mix wirelessly or over a wired network from anywhere using UC Surface touch-control software for Mac, Windows, Android™, and iPad®. Control individual monitor mixes onstage with QMix®-UC for iPhone®/iPod® touch and Android™. Automate virtual soundchecks and record shows with Capture™ for Mac and Windows. Edit, sweeten, and digitally release your recordings with Studio One Artist. StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixers and software work together to form a cohesive ecosystem that helps you achieve your creative vision.

Dedicated analog connections for predictable signal flow.

Take a look at back panel of a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB mixer, and you’ll find the robust connections you’d expect from an analog mixer: balanced mic inputs on each of the 8 mono channels; 8 balanced ¼-inch line inputs; 4 unbalanced RCA line inputs; and dedicated balanced outputs for each of the 4 aux buses and the main stereo bus. Every input channel and bus send has its own dedicated jack—no sharing, no compromises—so you always know what’s flowing from each output.

Add excitement to performances with MIDI control.

Being able to control the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB from an iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch®, or Android device is cool—unless your hands are busy playing your instrument. That’s why the StudioLive 16.0.2 USB offers MIDI In and Out. Use a MIDI footpedal or DAW to recall scenes using MIDI Program Changes, control the main output volume and effects level, mute effects between songs, switch from lots of reverb to a little bit of delay, and change the mix for a solo. You can even automate these features with a DAW! It’s a great way to make your performances more exciting and varied, even if you don’t have a separate soundperson.

The StudioLive® 24 digital console/recorder is by far the most powerful mixer in its class. This third-generation StudioLive mixer is fully recallable, with 25 touch-sensitive, motorized faders and 25 recallable XMAX preamps. Yet despite its extensive features, the StudioLive 24 actually improves upon PreSonus®' legendary ease of use while letting you customize its workflow and operations. The StudioLive sound is better than ever, including all-new Fat Channel processing, re-engineered from the ground up, and vintage-style EQs and compressors. Add built-in AVB networking, onboard multitrack Capture™ recording to SD Card, and a complete suite of software, and you have a mixing and recording powerhouse that's equally formidable in live and studio applications.

Superior sound.

Connect a StudioLive 24 mixer, and you’ll instantly hear details and an open high end you’d expect to find only in an expensive studio console. We built our reputation designing great-sounding analog circuits, including our famous XMAX solid-state, Class A preamps, and we put all of that experience into designing the StudioLive 24. We didn’t cut corners on components, and we just say “No!” to noisy, crosstalk-y ribbon cables. As a result, the StudioLive 24 delivers the high-end audio quality you need to preserve your hard-earned reputation for producing great-sounding mixes and recordings.

Integrated multitrack recording and virtual soundcheck — no computer required.

PreSonus Capture™ recording software is an intuitive, rock-solid multitrack recording application with virtual soundcheck. It’s installed directly into the StudioLive 24 so you can leave your laptop at home. Capture’s one-touch recording makes it easy to record to the StudioLive 24’s onboard SD multitrack recorder. When you're finished recording, open your Capture session in Studio One® for Mac® and Windows® (included), and the entire mix scene will transfer to your Studio One session, including fader levels, Fat Channel settings, and, yes, any drum solos that you may have had to endure that night.

A re-envisioned Fat Channel.

The StudioLive 24’s Fat Channel has received a major overhaul while continuing to offer digital precision with the heart and soul of analog. Our new Fat Channel implements a plug-in-style workflow that features vintage-style EQ and compression options on every channel, from classic tube limiters to passive EQs. And in addition to channel processing, the StudioLive 24 offers 6-band, fully parametric EQ on all mix outputs. Enjoy extensive, studio-style processing when recording on location or running shows on the road!

Define your own layouts, views, and workflows.

StudioLive 24 goes above and beyond in providing ways to customize things to best fit the way you work. Now you can customize your Fat Channel layout, putting the parameters you care about most right at your fingertips. There are even several workflow options to personalize your mixing experience. For instance, you can control the mixer with a multiple iPads and—optionally—a computer, each running UC Surface with a different view, enabling you to see and touch all of the controls you need at a given time.

Customize scenes and presets in new and powerful ways—including your way.

With StudioLive 24, we’ve upped the ante and given you more flexibility when working with scenes and presets.

Create buses and groups to suit your workflow with new FlexMixes.

Don’t you hate it when you’re setting up for a show and find you have an unused subgroup—but you’re short one monitor mix? That’s not a problem anymore, thanks to 16 FlexMixes that can be individually designated as aux, subgroup, or matrix mixes. You get a total of 10 FlexMixes on analog outputs, 6 on XLR connectors, and 4 on ¼-inch TRS; the other 6 are routed over USB or AVB. These 16 FlexMixes are in addition to the 4 fixed subgroups that also are available via USB or AVB, giving you a total of 20 mix buses, not counting the main mix, solo, and FX buses. We also provided 24 DCAs so you can more easily and flexibly control groups of channels. These are only a few of the many ways you can customize your StudioLive 24 mixer exactly to your needs and workflow.

World-class recording software included.

Seamlessly integrated with the included PreSonus Studio One® Artist DAW, the StudioLive 24 Series III mixer works with virtually all Mac and Windows audio-recording software. Built by creative people for creative music production, Studio One is easy to learn and enables you to compose, record, and produce your masterpiece without getting distracted by the tools. Studio One also enjoys a robust online community of enthusiastic and helpful users you can turn to for advice. Need a new loop or sample for your latest production? StudioLive 24 mixers and software work together to form a cohesive ecosystem that helps you achieve your creative vision.

Network-ready, with a choice of computer recording methods.

Networking isn’t the future of professional audio systems; it’s here now. StudioLive 24 mixers come equipped with an AVB Ethernet connection that enables you to network multiple StudioLive 24 mixers and compatible computers and stream up to 55 channels of audio to and from a Mac or Windows PC. You also get 38x38 recording via USB 2.0, giving you a choice of computer recording methods. Each channel can independently access its analog input or its dedicated digital return from your computer. And recording is simple and easy: Just launch the included, preconfigured Capture software for one-click recording of all channel inputs and your main mix. Or record with the included Studio One Artist DAW—or with any recording software that supports ASIO or Core Audio.

Remote mix control available on a plethora of both wired and wireless devices.

In addition to the AVB recording connection, StudioLive 24 consoles sport a 1 Gb Ethernet port that can connect to a wireless router or directly to a computer, providing remote control of virtually all features. Mix wirelessly or over a wired network from anywhere using UC Surface for Mac®, Windows®, and iPad®. Even add a second—or third, or even fourth!—screen for fast workflow. Musicians can control their monitor mixes onstage with QMix®-UC for iPhone®, iPod® touch, or Android™ device without the need for large monitor networks. Go wireless, wired, or both.

Extensive connections for flexible signal flow.

The back panel of a StudioLive 24 console sports all of the connections you need for live sound and studio production. With flexible connectivity, superior audio quality, the ability to customize for your workflow, and powerful processing, mixing, and routing capabilities, you’ll create your mixes in whatever manner works best for you. We just provide the tools.

These are only a few of the many ways you can customize your StudioLive 32 mixer exactly to your needs and workflow.
