Mastering Improvements

New in 6.1! Project Templates
Speed up your workflow when mastering by using templates to quickly change your working environment. The new Project Templates allow you to save your preferred main mastering effects chain, including external hardware processors connected via Pipeline. You can even store predefined album metadata.

New in 6.1! Album mode for target loudness
Maintain full control over the loudness of your album tracks while still meeting the required loudness standard. The new “Album Mode” for Digital Releases on the Project Page analyzes loudness for each track then optimizes loudness equally to all tracks to preserve the relative loudness between tracks rather than setting all the tracks of an album to the same target loudness.

Global Video Track

A new way to add sound to picture.

The all-new Global Video Track provides an intuitive video workflow thanks to the familiar drag and drop functionality that made Studio One famous. Need to cut together a quick edit or streamline your podcast workflow? No problem. Basic editing features for the Video Track are also available.

New in 6.1! View timecode inside the video player
Studio One’s video window now offers an optional large timecode display. Timecode format can be selected from frames, bars, seconds, or samples and is displayed beneath the video viewer, keeping the video image clear of distracting overlays. Even better, the size of the timecode display follows the size of the video window.

Smart Templates
